In the Beginning...
It all started at the dentist, of course. Kira found a bunch of moth wings in the parking lot under a broken street light, which, apparently, was irresistible to our winged friends. Mass moth annihilation. It took a while for the inspiration to strike, but it finaly did while playing Fallout 76 and it hit her… no, it really did hit her!
An attack from the bringer of doom himself...
MOTHMAN!

Kira Wilson
Appalachian Artist, Mothman Enthusiast
& Traveling Cryptid Dealer
After relocating from Colorado to the mountains of Kentucky, Kira quickly fell in love with the region’s landscapes, culture, and folklore. Finding fun ways to capture and express life’s beauty and variety brings her joy, and her art captures that joy with quirky, handcrafted creations—especially her signature Mothmen.

Her creations are anything but ordinary. From jars of “canned” cryptids to wall-mounted oddities and glowing mothman lamps, Kira’s work blends curiosity, craftsmanship, and just the right amount of mischief. Each piece is a playful nod to the strange beauty of life and the legends that lurk between the trees.
